1. Acquisition of International Safety Management Code: ISM Code Our Safety Management System
SMS has been approved by Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (Class NK) for its conformance with IMO's International Safety Management Code, and Document of Compliance was officially issued.
2. Acquisition of Management System of International Organization for Standardization: ISO
In addition to SMS, we obtained ISO9001:2008 (Quality Management System) and ISO14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) in order to improve quality of our marine transportation service and to implement environmental preservation measures on a wider scale.

3. IDEMITSU ship inspection under the SIRE program
As part of our activities to improve safety control level of Time Charter, Consecutive Voyage Charter, and Voyage Charter, we conduct vessel inspection based on the SIRE system by two internal SIRE inspectors and five external contract SIRE inspectors. The results of inspection will be registered in the Ship Inspection Report (SIRE) of OCIMF (Oil Company International Marine Forum).
4. Dispatching marine superintendent
We dispatch marine superintendents to the ships managed by the company at the terminal in order to improve safety and efficiency of cargo work by checking conditions of bridge, deck, cargo space, pump room, inspecting important facilities such as navigation instruments, fire preventive and mooring equipment, and giving instructions on cargo handling.
In addition to the ships managed by the company, we also give total support to other vessels carrying cargo for IDEMITSU by conducting biannual safety inspection tours of charters and giving advice and requests for improvement if necessary.
